LPG- Autogas conversion for Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7 V8 model

Installation

Installation of the conversion will be completed at our Thirsk workshops

Testing calibration

This will be in house at our workshop using our own four-wheel drive dyno facility reducing the need of on the road calibration.

Conversion

The system installed uses the latest Sequential Gas injection system for this engine size ensuring good response but more importantly the correct amount of fuel at higher RPM. The LPG tank will be fitted in place of the spare wheel and would be 95 litres water capacity. This will require the existing petrol tank to be slightly lowered. Alternative tank options are available including a replacement petrol tank of 47.3 Ltr / 10.4 gal and 130ltrs water capacity LPG / autogas.

The filler will be the Dutch bayonet filler (UK standard) and fitted in the rear skirt of the vehicle. A different location can be offered but please contact us in advance to check suitability.

Documentation provided with the completed conversion

LPGA (LP Gas Association) Certificate for insurance purpose stating emission results, engine conversion handbooks and service instructions, extendable vehicle breakdown warranty.

Warranty

A 24 month manufacturers component warranty and a 24 month extendable Autogas Vehicle Breakdown Warranty is supplied with this conversion.

The conversion listed is suitable for Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7 V8.

The host vehicle must have current MOT and be taxed for road use. A preliminary emission test will be carried out prior to commencing the conversion.
